Sora (空) is the Japanese word for "sky." For us, it represents more than just our unique location at Lakeland Linder International Airport; it symbolizes the boundless possibilities that can be achieved when a community comes together to support a locally grown dream.


Our story isn't a typical restaurant tale. We are a homegrown Lakeland venture, nurtured and supported by the local entrepreneur incubator, Catapult. It was within this incredible community of innovators and dreamers that the vision for Sora Eatery first took flight. We envisioned a place that was more than just a restaurant; we wanted to create a welcoming hub for travelers, a go-to spot for the local community, and a culinary experience that truly reflects the vibrant and growing spirit of Lakeland.
